We also took moderate doses of Diamox on the last 3 days of the climb. I attribute much of our success to our decision to purchase and use for acclimatization to portable Altipower units. We each trained for five weeks, usually six days per week. I took this precaution because we live at sea-level and neither one of us had ever hiked in a mountainous area or climbed anything other than stairs. There is no reason for so many people to suffer while they climb (and I saw plenty of people suffering and one emergency rescue). One should enjoy, not merely endure, the summit experience.
Take care and best regards
I climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, East Africa August, 2003, and know the IHT played a big part in my success. I did not get high altitude sickness. My personal physician became interested in the machine and we determined a 10% increase in my hemoglobin. I trained on the IHT for 30 days.

Thank you so much,
Me and my husband just back from Tibet. Thank you for your Altipower which allowed us to pass a nice holiday in Lhasa without any particular problems.
I recently climbed Kilimanjaro. While climbing I met a fellow climber who had used your product. He seemed to have much more energy at higher altitudes than the others. I am interested in possibly purchasing your product for my own use.
